During the Edo period (1603-1868) in Japan, samurai armor underwent significant changes in both design and functionality. Armor became less practical for battle and more ornamental, reflecting the relative peace of the era. These changes in armor design were due to the fact that samurai were now primarily responsible for maintaining law and order and were no longer engaged in large-scale warfare.

This armor is made from traditional materials such as iron, leather, and silk, and includes all the essential components of an Edo period samurai armor set. Each piece is designed with intricate detailing and craftsmanship that accurately reflects the elegance and beauty of this iconic armor.

Please send me your Height, Weight, Chest Circumference, and Waist Circumference to ensure the armor fits you perfectly. Main armor color, primary/secondary lace color can also be changed as well.

Comes with a Box and stand for display as well as samurai shoes and socks.
