Immerse yourself in the unparalleled craftsmanship of our Tamahagane Steel Katana, featuring a 28" blade forged to perfection and adorned with a mesmerizing ManJi pattern motif design on the Moko Tsuba, Fuchi, and Kashira. Crafted in the traditional Japanese way, this katana is a true embodiment of the samurai spirit.
The blade, meticulously forged in authentic Tamahagane steel, boasts a smoothly flowing hamon (temper line) from kissaki (blade point) to habaki. The hazuya-polished edge brings out the prominent hamon, ensuring a blade geometry conducive to rigorous cutting without chipping on semi-hard and hard targets.
Every detail of this katana reflects the dedication to authenticity. The Moko Tsuba, Fuchi, and Kashira showcase the elegant ManJi pattern motif design, adding a touch of sophistication to this formidable weapon. The 10.5" Tsuka (handle) features real white rayskin under the tsuka-ito (handle wrap) and is expertly tsukamaki with hishigami (rhombus paper), ensuring an extremely tight and geometrically precise grip.
For added durability and a touch of opulence and authenticity, the Habaki (blade collar) and Seppa (spacers) are crafted from brass. The katana is thoughtfully designed with a natural rayskin inlay and quality cotton ito on the tsuka, completing the aesthetic appeal while maintaining functionality.
