Eagle Katana

This katana features an eagle-inspired design with fittings that give the sword a bold, distinctive look. It is built around a functional T10 steel blade and is intended for both display and cutting practice.

The blade is forged from T10 high-carbon steel and features a hitatsura-style hamon with an active temper pattern across the blade. It is hand-polished to a mirror finish and sharpened for practical use.

The tsuka is wrapped with white rayskin (same) and finished with a tight tsuka-ito wrap. Hishigami are used during the wrapping process to help keep the diamonds even and the grip secure.

The eagle theme is carried through the fittings, giving the katana a consistent design without taking away from its practical construction.
