Red Rattan Partially Wrapped Tamahagane Steel Katana
Traditionally forged with tamahagane steel, featuring a differential clay-tempered heat treatment. Hazuya polished to reveal a beautiful folded grain (take hada).
Tsuka is wrapped with high-quality authentic ray skin (same), and hishigami (paper wedges) are used to ensure a precise and tight tsuka-maki wrap.
Fittings are made from cast iron for durability and style.
Saya is deeply lacquered in black and includes a buffalo horn koiguchi and kurikata, with a partial rattan wrap for added texture and elegance.
