This katana is crafted for tameshigiri, featuring a robust blade without bohi, designed for powerful cutting practice. The hand-forged T10 steel blade showcases a gunome hamon with a geometric yokote, with a full hand-polished finish that makes the hamon prominent and visually striking.
The tsuka is inlaid with authentic white rayskin and wrapped with high-quality synthetic silk ito, secured with hishigami (paper wedges) for a tight and precise grip.
