This katana features a traditionally forged tamahagane steel blade with a differential clay-tempered hardening process. The blade is polished with hazuya and jizuya, revealing a clear and striking hamon along with a beautiful hada.
The tsuka features a wooden core fully wrapped in premium authentic rayskin.
The handle is finished with Japanese silk ito in a traditional tsukamaki style and secured with hishigami for a precise, tight, and secure grip.
The fittings include a high-quality brass tsuba, fuchi, kashira, and menuki.
