Wooden Saya Tamahagane Steel Katana
Wooden Saya Tamahagane Steel Katana
This katana features a blade forged from tamahagane steel using traditional methods and a differential clay-tempered hardening process. The blade is polished with hazuya and jizuya to reveal a clear hamon and a beautiful, distinctive grain pattern (hada).
The tsuka has a wooden core wrapped in high-quality authentic rayskin for durability and a traditional look.
The saya is left unpainted, showcasing the beautiful grain of the natural wood and finished with buffalo horn accents, including the koiguchi, kurigata, and kojiri, for a refined touch.
